about

"Hero treated as a villain, but he's willing and alive, to free those who are lost and cry out"

I LOVE DC and Marvel. Batman is my favorite superhero and can accomplish any feat with planning. Sometimes I feel like I am a superhero, working 4-5 jobs by day, working on music by night, trying to love my family, girlfriend, and those around me sacrificially.

Some people do good things for others for their own benefit, and some people do good things for others for their benefit. It's the heroes that do not look for the clout and accolades that I admire. Batman is a hero like that, but so is my mom, so are my pastors, my girlfriend, my true friends, and my greatest friend Jesus.

Jesus has come to earth for us, live the perfect life, die my death, and resurrect from the grave and promise me eternal life. He is the greatest hero who suffered for my mistakes and has shared with me His glory and blessings from God.

This song is one that speaks on how crazy our world is, how messed up I am, but also how great our Lord and saviour is to be my hero. Quinten is a beast and slayed the production and hook. He is also a hero who has mastered this project so many times for me, exhibiting patience and grace to me time and time again. May the LORD reward him LOL!

lyrics

Not all heroes wear capes

Born on the west end… the 6ix
On the streets where mans get clipped
Brush a dude on the block, feel a type of way
Metal to your dome, like you tryna catch a fade
But something don’t line up…
Like where did I get my perception of right from
Blind lead blind, crooks in the crooked
See the by-product of the fruit when he took-it
All men sinned and I knew it
All fall short, deep down we congruent...ugh

I need somebody who’s not like me
Doesn’t make mistakes, screw up like me
Somebody show me the way and give sight to me
Someone to fix my wrongs, come right by me
Forgive my mistakes and give light to me
Tell me the wars won, and come fight for me
Who got do it

My Hero, on calvary
Bleeding out, for all to see
Willingly, for my sin He died
But death has no power, cuss my hero's alive
Not all heroes wear capes
My Hero's alive
Not all heroes wear capes
My Hero's alive
Not all heroes wear capes
My Hero's alive
Not all heroes wear capes

Most infinite, just, and omnipotent
Fashioned man from dust and yet intimate
Without a passion to see us crushed and tear ligaments
God in the flesh, unstained, and still innocent
The man that we speak of, created the same words which we speak of
The word now a verb once heard and observed now a Person who paid and offers us free love

And somebody paid it
The ones in debt still hate it
Son of a carpenter laid the earth's foundation, cursed when they hanged Him
The very one, who upholds the universe, died held up, on the cross
Hero treated as a villain but He’s willing and alive, to free those, who are lost and cry out

My Hero, on calvary
Bleeding out, for all to see
Willingly, for my sin He died
But death has no power, cuss my hero's alive
Not all heroes wear capes
My Hero's alive
Not all heroes wear capes
My Hero's alive
Not all heroes wear capes
My Hero's alive
Not all heroes wear capes

And get it straight yeah He living
And all my sins, they forgiven
And get it straight yeah He living
And all my sins, they forgiven
